About 200 Ukrainian refugee children were admitted to kindergartens, while over 700 to schools in the municipality of Chisinau, Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport, announced in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

Over 60 children from refugee families attended classes as part of extracurricular activities, while more than 100 children went to day camps set up for them.

About 20 Ukrainian refugee teachers applied to be hired at education institutions in Chisinau. Two of them were already employed, as an educator and as a physical education teacher, stated Andrei Pavaloi.
