More than 8,000 jobs are available as of August 17, according to the the National Employment Agency (ANOFM). The largest numbers of jobs are in Chisinau, Balti and Floresti.

For people with higher education and specialized education, 2,016 jobs or 25% of the total number of vacancies are available. The most in demand occupations are those of inspector / officer - 498 vacancies, health specialist - 464 and education specialist - 257 vacancies. The fewest vacancies are for the position of agronomist.

For persons with secondary vocational training and for unskilled workers, the National Employment Agency reports 6179 available jobs. The most sought after are workers in the textile and garment, transportation and telecommunications industries. The least sought after are construction workers.
