The European Moldova Assembly staged in the central square of Chisinau today involved more than 75,000 people. The figure was fixed by the National Police at 12:30pm. Owing to the heavy traffic, many people didn’t manage to reach the venue of the event.

Regrettably, we ascertained that citizens got struck on some of the arteries of the municipality of Chisinau and could not get to the central square. A lot of units of transport remained blocked on the outskirts of Chisinau,” stated Viorel Cernăuțeanu.
