The recipients of all types for pensions and state social benefits set until October 1, 2020, which are smaller than 3,000 lei a month, will receive by a lump sum of 900 lei in support. Over 645,000 persons are estimated to get such support, IPN reports.

The National House of Social Insurance said that most of the beneficiaries, about 578,000, are recipients of pensions, while about 67,000 are recipients of state social benefits. The costs for paying the lump sum, totaling 580 million lei, will be provided from the state budget.

The financial support can be collected at any post office, regardless of the place of residence, and at banks on the pension or benefit payment date.

Also, the pensions and some of the state social benefits will be indexed by 1.07% on October 1, 2020.
