More than 62,000 people crossed the borders of the Republic of Moldova in the last 24 hours. Border guards recorded eight violations, and 23 foreigners were denied entry, IPN reports.
Among the most popular crossing points are the Leuseni customs post - 13,431 crossings, the Chisinau International Airport - 12,871, the posts in Sculeni - 9,822, Palanca - 3,915 and Cahul - 3,659.
To avoid crowdedness, travelers are recommended to cross the border through the customs posts in Leova-Bumbăta, Cahul-Oancea, Costești-Stânca, Lipcani-Rădăuți or Tudora-Starokazacie.
The police officers detected two cases of illegal crossing of the state border, one case of using a false document, three cases of non-compliance with the rules of stay and entry into the country and two cases of violation of the state border regime.
