Over 5,000 persons in Chisinau will vote at their new places of residence
5,301 persons declared their new places of residence to the Chisinau authorities in order to be allowed to vote there, and not at the principal place of residence, in the July 29 parliamentary elections, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Chisinau City Hall.
These persons will be included in the voter rolls of the particular polling stations.
4,783 of the applicants will vote in the city, while the remaining 518 in the suburbs.
The deadline for submitting a declaration of residence was June 26. Those who failed to do so, will have to vote at the principal place of residence or at the place where they voted in the previous elections.
