A collection of over 500 military uniforms from different countries have been exhibited at the Customs Service Museum. The exhibition also includes collections of guns, coins, icons, royal flags and other objects from different ages, Info-Prim Neo reports. The exhibition was opened on the International Day of Museums, marked on May 18. Colonel Petru Costin, founder and administrator of the Customs Service Museum, says he is attached to all of the exhibited objects, as they represent the history of the Customs Service Service. The displayed uniforms had been worn by famous workers. The flags collection has been gathered for 10 years with the help of Moldovan historians. The administrator mentioned that the icons were homemade and not from churches. The collections have been previously exhibited in Romania, Hungary, Ukraine and other countries. During the opening, Petru Costin received the Golden Cross Order from the Hungarian state for promoting Moldovan culture. The Customs Service Museum was opened in 2007 and has organized over 50 expositions in Moldova and abroad.
