More than 500 employees of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations will be on duty on the Sunday of the Dead. The firefighters call on the people not to use open fire when cleaning the yards and lots and for destroying solid waste. Those who clean up cemeteries are asked not to set dry vegetation or stored waste on fire so as to avoid emergencies, IPN reports.
According to the Inspectorate, the officers deployed to monitor the situation at the local level are taking measures to prevent situations of risk and warn the people about the dangers faced when not respecting the fire safety rules. The rescuers and firefighters will also be ready to deal with emergency situations and fires. A number of 150 units of transport were prepared for rescue operations.
In case of emergencies, the people can seek help from the 112 Service. On Easter, the Inspectorate’s employees dealt with 150 situations of risk.
