More than 530 buildings in the municipality of Chisinau have been connected to the centralized heating system. Among these are 137 kindergartens, 36 schools, 31 medical institutions, 204 apartment buildings and 88 business entities, IPN reports.
According to Termoelectrica, the process of connecting the buildings to the heating system was started at request at the end of September. Termoelectrica director general Veaceslav Eni said the company’s employees have a permanent dialogue with consumers so as to offer the necessity support in the connection process.
The apartment buildings that have a connection permit can any time benefit from heat, when the housing sector manager requests. The connection procedure is simple and lasts for at most three hours. When the building is connected, the manager can reduce the temperature of the heat or stop the supply of heat.
Earlier, the Chisinau City Hall informed that the inhabitants of the municipality can ask to have their dwellings connected to the centralized heating system without waiting for a relevant official decision.
