To date, 46.7 million lei have been accumulated on the refugee donation account opened by the Ministry of Finance, of which 35 million lei has already been distributed. On top of this, 200 million lei has been spent from the state budget for managing the refugee crisis. The information was provided by Minister of Finance Dumitru Budianschi in a press conference.

Those who donated to the MoF account include 3,600 individuals, most of them Moldovans, and over 330 legal entities.

Reporting on the use of the funds takes place monthly, until the date of 15th of the following month. The Ministry of Finance will also present a quarterly report.
