42% of the high school students didn’t pass the Baccalaureate exams. Only four students got grades of ‘10’ in all the exams. The information was made public by the Ministry of Education on June 27, IPN reports.
A number of tests were cancelled because of distinctive marks on the papers or because the students wrote their names on them out of inattention. Those who failed one exam can take it again in two weeks. 410 students either wrote nothing or didn’t come to the exams. They can also take part in the additional examination session, as well as the candidates with grades under ‘5’.
The Ministry of Education said that one center became famous for the high number of copied papers - 30. This is the center in Briceni, Lipcani. Those who were caught cheating will be able to sit the exam again next year.
The average grade in the Baccalaureate exams is ‘6.7’. The Baccalaureate exams were taken by about 28,000 students.
