More than 40 Moldovan companies obtained the right to export fresh fruit to the Russian Federation. The announcement was published on the website of Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), IPN reports.
Rosselkhoznadzor specifies that this right was given as an experiment, under the guarantee of the National Food Safety Agency, following a visit paid by Russian experts to Moldova recently.
The companies were authorized to export fresh apples, plums, quinces, pears, cherries, apricots, peaches and nectarines to Russia.
