As many as 338 foreign citizens have violated the regime of staying in Moldova so far this summer. Most often such violations were committed by Russians, Ukrainians, Romanians, Turks, and Azeri people, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Border Police Department, the breaking by the foreigners and stateless persons of the rules of staying in Moldova is punished with a fine of 1,000 to 2,000 lei, with or without expulsion from Moldova.
In the first half of this year, the Border Police identified 812 foreign citizens who didn’t follow the rules of staying in Moldova.
