More than 2,400 refugees have been sheltered at 67 temporary placement centers. The figures do not include persons who are at the hotspot centers in Palanca and Otaci, the Government’s secretary general Dumitru Udrea, who heads the Unified Crisis Managements Center, told a news conference. The green line 080080011 was launched and those who want to help the Ukrainian citizens who found refuge in Moldova can use it, IPN reports.
The other green line – 08-000-15-27 – is intended for refugees who can dial the number if they need help in the accommodation and document obtaining processes.
The four aid collection points in Chisinau continue work. The 67 temporary placement centers have over 1,900 available places. There were identified other potential placement locations, stated Dumitru Udrea.
According to the latest data, 41,700 persons from Ukraine are now on Moldova’s territory. Many of them stopped at relatives and friends or rent accommodations at their own expense.
