In the municipality of Chisinau, 26,500 applications to be offered cold-month allowances for the 2020-2021 cold season had been processed until February 26. Of these, 23,047 applications were accepted, 382 are new applications, while 3,379 applications were rejected, IPN reports, quoting the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall.

Most of the accepted applications were registered in Botanica district – 7,515. In the suburban settlements, 2,000 of the 2,043 filed applications were accepted.

The heat bill for March issued to the persons whose applications were accepted will include the compensations for all the months since the start of the cold season. The other citizens will get compensations the next month.
