More than 21,000 Moldovans were banned from entering Russia, while another 241,000 Moldovans were included in the risk group by the Russian authorities. The data were presented by the representative of the Federal Migration Service of Russia Tamara Roshchina in a meeting with Deputy Minister of Labor Sergiu Sainciuc, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the ban on the 21,000 Moldovans was imposed following the non-observance by them of the regime of stay or the violation of Russian law norms. The risk group includes people who committed administrative violations, such as non-payment of fines for not obeying the traffic rules, while in Russia.
From January 1, the migrants, including the Moldovan ones, have the right to stay in Russia without the intention of working there for 90 days cumulatively during six months. If they violate the rules of stay, they risk being banned from entering Russia for a period of 3-4 years.
