Over 2,000 chickens die in fire in Lozova

More than 2,000 chickens burned to death in a fire at a home farm in Lozova village of Straseni district. The damage caused by the fire was assessed at 90,000 lei.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Liliana Puscasu has told Info-Prim Neo that the fire happened in an annex to the house in the morning of October 28. According to preliminary inquires, the fire was caused by the stove used to heat the building.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service on October 27 initiated inspections at private homes, especially in villages, in order to check the heating installations and sensitize the people to the dangers of fire.
