Two groups of Moldovans who remained blocked in Spain and at the border between Austria and Hungary were taken to Moldova with two charter flights, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The first group of 79 people was taken home from Santander, Spain, on March 15. These were artists of the National Opera House whose director sought help from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
In the second case, 78 persons were transported to Chisinau from Vienna, Austria. These were passengers of two buses that set off from Italy to Moldova in the period when the authorities of a number of EU member states reduced air and terrestrial communication with Italy.
