More than 12,600 direct contracts have been signed by consumers with SA “Apă-Canal Chișinău” as from October 2019, when the process was launched. The owners of apartments in the municipality of Chisinau can further apply to sign direct contracts, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the supplier. 

As many as 164 direct contracts were signed since October 2019, when the process started, until the end of the same year. The next year there were signed 2,355 contracts. Most of the contracts, 10,139, were signed last year.

To become a direct consumer, the persons should prepare a set of documents that would contain the application form, a copy of the dwelling ownership document, a copy of the last paid water bill and other documents.

The documents must be taken to the company’s head office located at 38 Albișoara St between 8am and 5pm from Monday through Thursday or from 8am to 3:45pm on Friday.

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, the company recommends the apartment building managers to collect applications from all the dwellers and to later take them to its head office so as to ensure efficiency and a faster process of signing individual contracts.
