Over 10,000 people got vaccinated on election day

More than 10,000 persons were vaccinated against COVID-19 on July 11, when snap parliamentary elections were held, as part of the nationwide campaign conducted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection and the National Public Health Agency under the slogan “Go to get a vaccine after voting”, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry, all the Moldovan citizens during the campaign were encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 according to the domicile address after marking their choice in elections. In this connection, all the vaccination units in Moldova on July 11 worked from 7am until 9pm.

The people were informed about the benefits of vaccination against COVID-19 through informative brochures, videos and audios.

The Ministry of Health continues urging the population to go to the family doctor or to any vaccination center to get a vaccine against COVID-19 as this is now the only solution for containing the pandemic.

The vaccine against COVID-19 protects from infection with COVID-19, from a serious form of disease and from death.

As many as 793 281 vaccine doses have been administered in Moldova so far.
