Over 100 nongovernmental organizations have applied for State Budget financing for cultural projects in 2015. A total amount of 2 million lei is available in the call for proposals organized by the Ministry of Culture, IPN reports.

Most projects submitted for financing intend to hold festivals. Other proposals include opening a kiosk of cultural information, creating a cultural tour for tourists, improving general knowledge among the youth trough quiz games, or promoting embroidered blouses as part of the national and world heritage.

The state financing will cover up to 50% of the project's value, but will not exceed 100,000 lei per project.

Winners will be named on December 25.
