After the additional Baccalaureate session of 2018, the number of graduates who passed the exams this year rose to 13,150, as opposed to 12,905 in 2017. The exam pass rate among lyceums is 92.72%, up about 1% compared with last year. Over 100 lyceums had an exam pass rate of 100%, IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
In the case of colleges, the exam pass rate is 55.65%. The total exam pass rate rose by 4% on last year to 72.44%. The average grade obtained by graduates has also increased. The average grade in the Baccalaureate exams among lyceum graduates is 6.89, as opposed to 6.7 in 2017.
In the current session, six candidates were sent off from exams, one candidate during the main session, one candidate during the additional session, three candidates for fraud committed in the process of filing challenges and one candidate after the additional session.
