The number of citizens of the Republic of Moldova who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 so far exceeded 1 million. “This is a figure that brings hope in a future without COVID-19, without restrictions and with a safer environment,” the Ministry of Health noted in a press release that is quoted by IPN.
Axenia Ungureanu was the person who was given the one millionth vaccine at the Family Doctor’s Office in Bozieni, Hâncești. “We thank you for the care for the own health and the health of the close ones. You are an example of responsibility and involvement for ensuring the society’s wellbeing,” says the press release.
The Ministry of Health expresses its gratitude to the health workers for the efforts they make in the fight against COVID-19 and for their involvement in the vaccination process.
