The political party “Ai Noștri/Наши” has been officially registered by the Public Services Agency, the party’s leader Mikhail Akhremtsev announced in a Facebook post.

The name of the party, which translates in English as “Ours”, is strikingly similar to Renato Usatîi’s “Partidul Nostru/Наша Партия”.

“Yes, we are really a political party” and “Yes, we can change life in the country for the better and, in the near future, we will do it”, declared Akhremtsev.

Identifying itself as a conservative party, “Ai Noștri/Наши” argues for the introduction of multiple official languages, in particular Russian, and advocates strategic relations with Russia. Also, it wants to outlaw political parties advocating unification with Romania.

The intention to create the new party was announced in October 2020.
