The municipal authorities are preparing a series of cultural and artistic events during August 29-31 to celebrate the Our Language Day. The program includes a flower-laying ceremonies, literary and musical performances, exhibitions and sports competitions.
The program will start on Wednesday, August 29, with a festivity to mark the 20th anniversary of the Alba Iulia Library. On August 30, the B.P. Hasdeu Library will host a literary and artistic event.
On August 31, starting 10:00, flowers will be laid at the monument to Stephen the Great, followed by a festivity. In parallel, flowers will be laid at the bust to the poet Alecu Alecu Russo, also followed by a literary and musical event. Other festivities will be held in parks and squares across the city.
The program will culminate with a grand show in the National Assembly Square staring at 6:00PM.
