Other 54 confessions on Radio Free Europe are published in book
The Moldovan team of Radio Free Europe launched on February 16 the fourth compilation from the series “Jurnal saptamanal la Europa Libera” (Weekly diary on Radio Free Europe). The book contains 54 confessions of personalities who read their confessions on this station from November 2007 to December 2008, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The diaries are about a week from the life of the personalities in which they describe their political options, convictions and tastes.
One of them is Veronique North-Minca from the French embassy to Chisinau, who says this diary of the year 2008 is a mosaic of the realities surrounding us.
President of the European Movement from Moldova, Oleg Serebrian, said at the presentation that: “If we read the view of a person, we would see his view about how Moldova has developed during a certain amount of time. This diary will acquire another value some time later. In 20 years, we'll be able to make reference to such a diary and we'll see today's reality otherwise.”
Ana Gutu, first deputy rector with the ULIM University, said the publication was “an o atomization of events, which make get rid of the routine of life, making each person to appreciate the truth at its real value.”
Protagonists of the work are authors of weekly diaries presented in a program on Radio Free Europe on Saturday, presented by Valentina Ursu. The journalist has told Info-Prim Neo the weekly diaries are projected to be “an ex-ray picture of the Moldovan society made namely by the actors in this society.”
