The Special Representative of the German OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process, Cord Meier-Klodt, will pay a working visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol between September 26 and 28, 2016, IPN reports, quoting a media advisory of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.

During his visit, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will meet with the Moldovan and Transnistrian Chief Negotiators to receive briefings from the sides following the summer break and to discuss steps to advance the settlement process.

He will also meet with the resident Ambassadors of the Mediators (Russia and Ukraine) and Observers (the EU and U.S.) in the 5+2 process as part of international partners’ coordinated efforts to support the sides in moving the process forward.
