OSCE Special Representative Ambassador Meier-Klodt on visit to Moldova

The Special Representative of the German OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process Cord Meier-Klodt will visit Chisinau and Tiraspol between 22 and 24 June, IPN reports.

According to a media advisory of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, in Chisinau, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will meet with Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu, Prime Minister Pavel Filip, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration and Moldovan Chief Negotiator Gheorghe Balan, and Foreign Minister Andrei Galbur.

In Tiraspol, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will meet with Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk, Chairman of the Supreme Soviet Vadim Krasnoselsky and Transnistrian Chief Negotiator Vitaly Ignatiev.

During his visit, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will also meet with the resident Ambassadors of the Mediators and Observers in the 5+2 process as the international partners continue supporting the sides in moving the process forward.

On Friday, 24 June, the OSCE Special Representative Ambassador Meier-Klodt will give a press conference at the premises of the OSCE Mission to Moldova in Chisinau, starting at 12 noon.
