The OSCE Mission to Moldova condemns all attempts to destabilize situation in the Security Zone and Transnistria and calls on all sides to maintain calm and refrain from any action, which could undermine trust and stability on both Sides of the Dniester/Nistru River.

In a post on Facebook, the Mission said that it keeps regular contacts with relevant counterparts, closely monitors the developments within its mandate and carefully evaluates the elements of the incidents.

A number of explosions occurred at the head office of the so-called Ministry of Security of the Transnistrian region in the evening of April 25. It was reportedly an attack with rocket-propelled grenade launchers in which no one was hurt. Two more blasts were reported in Mayak village of Grigoriopol district in the morning of April 26. According to press reports, explosions also occurred in Parcani, 13 km from the border with Ukraine, on the Transnistrian segment. The administration of the Transnistrian region issued a red alert for terrorism.
