The Representative of the Irish Chair-in-Office of the OSCE, Minister for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton, is visiting Moldova during September 19-21 to discuss the OSCE’s engagement with the country, the OSCE Mission to Moldova announced in a press release. Lucinda Creighton will hold meetings with President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, as well as EU Ambassadors to the country and the staff of the OSCE Mission to Moldova. Further, Lucinda Creighton will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transnistrian chief negotiator Nina Shtanski. On Thursday, the Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office will hold a press briefing together with Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca in Chisinau, followed by a press opportunity together with chief negotiator Nina Shtanski in Tiraspol.
