Orphanages to receive book from Moldovan woman working in Italy

A Moldovan woman working in Italy, who writes poems for children, will donate her book to a number of orphanages. The donation includes 5,000 books that the woman printed with her own money. As many as 1,000 books were transmitted to the Chisinau City Hall for the local orphanages, IPN reports.

In the ordinary meeting of City Hall officials, Zinovia Cazimir said she was brought up in an orphanage and knows that the children in such institutions are in need of books. “Being raised in an orphanage, I thought I can do something good in this world,” she stated.

The author sent a consignment of books to her native village Bujauca of Rezina district. “I want these books to reach the boarding schools and children’s homes of Moldova, but I don’t know how. Maybe somebody helps me. If there is a possibility to help these children, why shouldn’t we do good things?” she asked.

Zinovia Cazimir said she already prepared the materials for printing the second children’s poetry book.
