The State Hydrometeorological Service has issued an orange code advisory for heat that covers the whole territory of the country. The warning refers to the period between August 3 and 5, IPN reports.
In the period, daytime temperatures will reach 35-38 degrees Celsius almost all over Moldova.
In the case of orange code warnings, the meteorological conditions pose a real threat owing to high-intensity dangerous phenomena that can affect the socioeconomic activity and can cause substantial damage to buildings and victims.
