Weather forecasters issued an orange advisory for high temperatures for August 3-6. During three days from Friday, central and southern Moldova will be under a heatwave, IPN reports.
According to the State Weather Service, the temperatures will oscillate between +33 and +35 degrees Celsius. In the southern districts, daytime temperatures will rise to +38 degrees Celsius starting with August 4.
To prevent the worsening of the state of health and to avoid sunstrokes and other negative effects of heat, specialists warn not to walk between 10am and 6pm, to drink more water and to wear clothes made from natural materials and of light colors. Grownups are warned to permanently supervise the children and not to leave them locked inside cars even for very short periods of time.
