The coach of the national Under 21 football team of Moldova Danut Oprea made public the extended lineup for the encounter with Belgium, of the 2017 European Championship qualifying rounds. Six of the footballers come from Sheriff. These are Andrei Macritski, Sergei Svinarenco, Artiom Rozgoniuc, Vadim Paireli, Valeriu Macritski and Eugeniu Rebenja, IPN reports.
Four players are from Zimbru and Speranta. Among them is the captain of Zimbru Dan Spataru, who will also play the games against Malta and Andorra with the national football team. Halfback Ion Cararus of the Portuguese team Peniche and striker Alexandru Boiciuc of Rapid CFR Sucea are the only internationals who form part of the lineup.
Moldova meets Belgium at the Zimbru stadium in Chisinau on March 23. In Belgium, the ‘tricolors’ were beaten 1-2. The national team of Moldova ranks last in Group 1 with only four points after six matches played.
