The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS), the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) said they would not form a coalition with the Democratic Party (PDM) after the legislative elections so as to create a parliamentary majority. The issue was developed in the talk show “Politics” on TV8 channel, IPN reports.
Vladimir Bolea, chairman of the local Chisinau organization of the Party “Action and Solidarity”, said that in the party’s congress held last September, it was decided that the PAS will no way form a coalition with the PDM.
Deputy head of the PPPDA Alexandru Slusari noted their party categorically excludes a coalition with Vlad Plahotniuc. “We can analyze such a possibility hypothetically. If Vlad Plahotniuc and the whole gang - Andrian Candu, Raisa Apolschii, Pavel Filip and another 20 persons – left the party, we could theoretically consider such a move. But this will not happen and why should we analyze something that will not take place? There will be no coalition with the PDM,” stated Alexandru Slusari.
Alexandru Odintsov, Chisinau councilor on behalf of the Party of Socialists, said the PSRM hopes to win over 50% of the vote in the parliamentary elections and to form by itself the majority in Parliament. “We declared that we will not cooperate with the Democratic Party,” stated the Socialist councilor.
