Opinion polls among voters can be carried out during the electoral period only after informing the Central Election Commission about them beforehand, IPN reports.
Under the Electoral Code, the results of such polls can be published not later than five days before the election day. On the election day, until the polling places are closed, such materials, including interviews with voters, about the number of votes won by election runners during the day and their chances and also the results of exit-polls, cannot be disseminated through the media.
Information about the conduct of opinion polls is available on the Commission’s website, in the divisions “Snap parliamentary elections of 11.07.2021”.
Snap parliamentary elections will take place in Moldova on July 11.
