Opinion leaders say Moldova witnesses changes
Opinion leaders are sure that the expected changes took place in Moldova as the Communists Party that ruled for eight years does not have a majority and cannot adopt organic laws and form the government alone. The party that does not have the majority loses power, publicists Nicolae Negru and Petru Bogatu said in a discussion with Valeriu Saharnenau during a program on “Vocea Basarabiei” radio station, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the publicists, when all the people treat the Opposition as a unitary entity, while the leaders of the democratic parties speak about an alliance, we can already talk about the existence of two political forces – the PCRM and the Opposition parties.
Nicolae Negru said that immediate changes are needed, like the separation of the power in the state, the transformation of the national broadcaster into a truly public broadcaster, the freeing of the justice and the businesses from political interference. For the time being, Negru says, Marian Lupu continues his electoral message, but he must understand that if he forms a coalition with the Communists, his party will be swallowed up by the Communists and he will again become their tool. According to Negru, the society must know where the Communists took money from for the current electoral campaign.
“The full monopolization of the state institutions by the Communists and the so-called stability was a model of nationwide cemetery,” said Petru Bogatu, expressing his conviction that the democrats now have the change to demonopolize the state institutions and to strengthen justice and the political system without introducing amendments to the Constitution. According to him, the Prosecutor General and the Prosecutor’s Office must fulfill its duties, the Ministry of the Interior must be headed by honest people that obey the law, while the Broadcasting Coordination Council must be composed of sincere people that will punish all those that will deviate from the norms.
