Open Doors Day at Chisinau Zoo
Today, August 9, children under 16 years of age, disabled persons and pensioners can go to the Zoo for free.
“It’s the first time the World Zoo Day is observed in Moldova. The Zoo's administration came up with this idea, to organize the Open Doors Day”, Ala Rotaru, head of the Natural Resources and Biodiversity Division at the Ministry of Environment, told Info-Prim Neo.
According to the Ministry's website, the Zoo has 844 representatives of 155 animal species. 115 of them are included in the International Red List and 13 in the Red List of Moldova.
The tickets cost 10 lei for adults and 5 lei for students.
