Online services provided by CNAS increasingly popular

The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) continues to extend its interaction with people through electronic services. The service to pay state social insurance contributions, including delay penalties and fines, into the state social insurance budget was developed and implemented as part of the Government e-Payments Gateway MPay, IPN reports.

The CNAS recommends the payers of state social insurance contributions to benefit from the main advantages of electronic payments, such as swiftness and comfort offered to users, and to make payments intended for the state social insurance budget through MPay, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, when it is recommended to avoid crowdedness.

Currently, the CNAS provides a series of electronic services. Through its official website www.cnas.md or through the public services gateway https://servicii.gov.md/, the families with children can file electronic application for a number of allowances, such as the one-off childbirth allowance, monthly childcare allowance, parental allowance, monthly allowance for looking after twins and more children born at once.

There can be accessed the Retirement Age Calculator that helps future pensioners to determine their retirement age and the date of retirement, especially in the case of women for whom the retirement age rises annually by 6 months.

Among other electronic services are Status of Medial Leave Certificate, Pension Calculator, e-Petitions, ACCES CPAS that enables employees to see if the employer transferred the insurance premium, and “Extrage CPAS” to determine the personal social insurance account number, which is most often used by business entities.
