The Law and Democratic Initiatives Center has announced the launch of the first online portal for accessing transfrontier European funds available to Moldovan and Romanian communities, IPN reports.

Through the agency of the platform www.accesfonduri.eu, the public authorities of Moldova can ask online for a partnership or twinning with an EU public authority. The same option can be used by the local European public authorities that can ask for a partnership with mayor’s offices of Moldova.

The platform provides comprehensive information about the European funds available to the local public authorities of Moldova and Romania. Taking into account the fact that this is transfrontier financing, the funds available through operational programs can be accessed through the agency of common projects and a partnership or twining is needed in this regard with the central, local or regional authorities of the EU. The applicant chooses the county or district wanted for association or twining and fills out a required form.
