The taxpayers can find any information about the calculation and payment of the VAT by accessing the generalized fiscal practice database on the official website of the State Main Tax Inspectorate. The service is available from this month, said Igor Lazari, the head of the State Tax Service’s Taxpayer Assistance Division, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. “We hope that this service will contribute to a lower number of contradictions that appear during fiscal inspections and of violations of the fiscal legislation,” the official said in a conference held to present the service. According to Igor Lazari, in the generalized fiscal practice database, the taxpayers, the potential investors and any interested person can find 200 answers to any question concerning the calculation, payment and refunding of the VAT. “In the future, there will be placed answers as to the calculation and payment of excise duties, income taxes and other taxes,” Igor Lazari said. The answers will be also used within the written correspondence with all the taxpayers and the telephonic information service.
