The “Online Education” Project that is intended for pre-university education (fist-twelfth graders) will be ready to be used as from April 20. The virtual platform will provide the content that is to be taught by the end of the 2019-2020 school year in accordance with the approved curriculum. The project is implemented by the Chisinau City Hall and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of Moldova, IPN reports.

Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said the new platform will contain a digital library with about 4,000 recorded lessons for first-twelfth graders in 15 subjects, including exact sciences or humanities. The recorded courses will be available in Romanian and Russian. “The lessons are worked out with the involvement of 150 teachers from Chisinau, who are instructed and guided by a number of teams of experts, coordinators, operators, etc.” stated the mayor.

The teaching aids in a video format will also be broadcast on TV channels with national coverage.
