Midfielder Valeriu Onila has left Zimbru and signed up with the Azerbaijani team Turan Tovuz, the Chisinau-based club announced on its website. The 24-year-old footballer has played just 12 matches for the Wisents since he joined them in March 2009. Prior to that he played at the local rival Dacia, from 2003 to 2008. By transferring to Turan, Onila has joined the rather numerous league of Moldovan players in Azerbaijan, which includes members of the Moldovan national side like Denis Calincov, Alexei Savinov and Sergei Lascencov.
