A one-stop shop centering on labor and social protection was opened at the Botanica Territorial House of Social Insurance (CTAS) located at 108 Burebista St. It works daily starting at 8 a.m., IPN reports.

The National House of Social Insurance said that the piloting of the one-stop-shop will exempt people from making extra trips to benefit from services in the field of labor and social protection, all of which are available at the one-stop shop.

The one-stop shop enables citizens to request in one place public labor and social protection services, including consultancy services, namely the provision of pensions and other social benefits, social aid and social services, energy compensation, employment measures, granting of disability degree, provision of orthopedic articles, medical and professional rehabilitation. Applicants can also benefit from advice on the application and compliance by employers with the labor law.

On February 9, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and the National House of Social Insurance signed a cooperation agreement for piloting the mechanism for providing public services in the field of labor and social protection according to the one-stop-shop principle.
