After the procedure for examining the challenges was completed, the number of students who passed the Baccalaureate exams increased to 345. One more student got only grades of 10. Thus, there are two students now with such a performance, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Education, the commissions reassessed 22,000 test papers or 23.52% of the total number. Most of the challenges disputing the grades were submitted for the following subjects: Romanian language and literature and geography (over 4,000), math and English (about 3,000).
As many as 39 students have an average grade higher or equal to 9.5, 183 students – higher or equal to 9, 1,313 students – higher or equal to 8, while 4,554 – higher or equal to 7.
There were modified 2,727 grades, which is 12.39% of the disputed grades or 2.91% of the total number of grades. As the previous session, the grades could not be decreased as a result of the challenging procedure.
After examining the challenges disputing the grades got in the basic session, the number of students who passed the exams came to 12,487 or 45.25% of the total number of candidates. 15,110 candidates or 54.75% didn’t pass at least one exam.
The additional Baccalaurean session will be held on July 16 – 23.
