A 32-year-old woman died in the hospital as a result of the traffic accident that occurred on the Strășeni-Chisinau road near Vatra town in the evening of December 22. A man and a woman involved in the same accident were killed at the scene, IPN reports.

According to the Police, four vehicles were involved in the accident. A Volkswagen Passat car with four occupants driven by a 46-year-old man collided with a BMW car driven by a man aged 32 when changing lane. It then collided head-on with a Mercedes Sprinter minibus driven by a 32-year-old man and was projected into a Skoda Superb car driven by a man aged 34.

The driver and a 42-year-old female passenger of the Volkswagen Passat car died on the spot, while a minor aged eight was rushed to the Municipal Children’s Hospital “V. Ignatenko”. The woman who died in the hospital is the third passenger of the Volkswagen Passat car.

The passenger of the Mercedes Sprinter minibus aged 47 was admitted to the intensive care section of the Chisinau Emergency Medicine Institute.

Legal action was taken in this case.
