One more party pleading for Moldovenism to run for parliament

One more party pleading for a stronger political and historical Moldovan identity is set to enter the race for the parliament. The chairman of the party “Our Home Is Moldova” (Casa Noastra Moldova) Oleg Oniscenco, told a news conference that the principal aim of the party is to create a strong state where the rule of law would prevail over the interests of the elected. Oniscenco says that since the proclamation of independence Moldova has been unable to guarantee a number of rights to its citizens, including the right to freedom of expression and freedom of assembly, and has marginalized other rights, like the right to work. The “Our Home Is Moldova” Party pleads for Moldova's European integration but also for good relations with the neighbors and strategic partners like Russia. Also, the party promises to promote social policies that would make the Moldovan citizens more confident about their country. The party hasn't yet applied to the Central Election Commission to become a formal candidate but has two more days until October 28 to do that.
