The Party of Law and Justice (PLD), chaired by gen. Nicolae Alexei, has fielded Valentina Tapis, chairwoman of the Chisinau Ecologic Agency as candidate for mayor general of Chisinau municipality. According to the press office of PLD, Valentina Tapis studied law, chemistry and public administration. She speaks English, Japanese and Russian. To date, 15 political parties submitted their lists for the position of councillor, of which 11 were registered. Three independent councillors and 14 candidates for the position of mayor also submitted their files, of whom 11 were registered.
