One more MP leaves PDM

MP Gheorghe Brashovsky decided to leave the Democratic Party (PDM) and its parliamentary group. According to the MP, the difficult, but assumed decision was influence by the latest developments inside the PDM. Brashovsky announced that he joins the mates of the Pro Moldova group, IPN reports.

”As part of the Democratic Party during the last few years, we managed to do many good things, to achieve concrete results and to restore people’s confidence in tomorrow. Regrettably, I no longer enjoy the support needed inside the party to continue work in this direction. To be able to further fulfill the commitments undertaken before the people, I decided to join my colleagues of the Pro Moldova parliamentary group led by Andrian Candu. I’m confident that together we can continue definite projects for our country’s European future,” the MP posted on Facebook.

The leader of the PDM Pavel Filip came with a reaction. “The “sponsors” decided to contribute own funds and brought together... seven MPs. Today they cleared the PDM of one more person who formed part of the group that went away from the very beginning, but they left him for several days for diversity so that it seems that the defections are in a cascade. The reformation of the PDM goes well: those who came to the party after money understood that that epoch is over and do not feel well in the PDM and leave voluntarily,” stated Pavel Filip.

Gheorghe Brashovsky was elected MP on the Democratic ticket in constituency No. 12: Sângerei, Florești. He earlier served as the mayor of Sângerei town.

Recently, MPs Andrian Candu, Sergiu Sîrbu, Vladimir Cebotari, Eleonora Graur, Corneliu Padnevici and Grigore Repeshchuk left the Democratic Party and its parliamentary group and formed the Pro Moldova group.
