One more medal for Moldova at World University Wrestling Championship

Moldova's wrestler Andrei Prepelita won the silver medal in the 60 kg category at the World University Wrestling Championship, taking place in the Italian city of Turin, Info-Prim Neo reports. On his way to the podium, Prepelita successively defeated Reece Humphrey of the United States, Iran's Ghorbanine Jadshani and Mongolia’s Khishignyam Undrakhbayar. In the final, Andrei lost to Uchimura Yuta of Japan. This is the second great success for the Moldovan wrestler after finishing in third place at the European Championships this year. Contending for the bronze medal in the 96 kg category, Nicolae Ceban lost to Iran's Amiri Saeid. Another Moldovan representative, Anisim Talambat (74 kg), was eliminated from competition in the first game. On the opening day of the Championship, Moldova's Piotr Ianulov won the gold medal in the 84 kg category. The Moldovan team ranked 3rd behind Russia and Ukraine.
